Here comes a real classic in the glass. The 'Grand Vintage Extra-Brut' smells of lightly toasted bread, grain and hazelnut with hints of gingerbread and marzipan. There are also notes of red apples, pears and quinces, yellow plums and peaches, grapefruit, pomelo and a little fennel pollen. On the palate, the 'Grand Vintage Extra-Brut' combines a fine fruity sweetness with a clear acid structure and lively minerality, piquant citrus notes and the fullness of a classic champagne. Vinifikation

The 2016 vintage consists of 33% Pinot Noir, 41% Chardonnay and 26% Meunier, mainly from Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites. The choice is large, as Moët & Chandon owns 1,190 hectares in the region. Under the direction of Benoît Gouez and Vincent Chaperon, a champagne was created that matures on the lees for seven years and will be disgorged in December 2023 with 5 grams of dosage.
