TastingNote

The salmon-red color of this wine is a real eye-catcher. And the scent is even more impressive! A kaleidoscope of summer berries and yellow fruits, underlined by a delicate violet tone, rose water and a little herbal spice. Fresh and charming in the mouth, with playful acidity, lots of fruit and a juiciness that can only be found in the Palatinate. Absolutely successful, easy drinking at the highest level!

Warning

Light fish, sophisticated salads, summer rolls or classic starters such as melon and ham. It also shines on its own as an aperitif!

Vinifikation

Merlot, which originally comes from Bordeaux, has been allowed to be grown in Germany since 1997. While nobody believed in the success of the grape variety at the beginning, wineries like Markus Pfaffman have shown what the noble grape is capable of. For the rosé, they rely on fully ripe grapes, which are destemmed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures.
