TastingNote

When poured, the Riesling reveals a pale gold with greenish reflections. The nose is dominated by intense aromas of ripe peaches, juicy apricots and citrus fruits. Nuances of white flowers, mineral notes and a hint of fresh hay complete the bouquet. On the palate, the wine presents itself with an impressive balance between rich fruit and lively acidity. Juicy peaches and crisp green apples merge with subtle minerals and a fine salty note. The texture is silky and structured at the same time.

Warning

The classic: Quiche Lorraine! Also goes well with rich dishes such as duck, aromatic soft cheese or slightly spicy curries.

Vinifikation

The grapes come from the Urban-Wingert, Langenberg and Mäuerchen Quer vineyards, which face south-west. The healthy harvest was completely destemmed, followed by 24 hours of maceration. The wine matured in 1200-litre barrels at a controlled temperature for around 30 months.
